Operating electric scooters on public roads, sidewalks, or cycle paths is illegal in New South Wales. These scooters are intended for use on private property with the owner's consent. By purchasing from East Coast Scoot, customers assume all risks and liabilities associated with the use of electric scooters or any other products from East Coast Scoot Pty Ltd. Customers acknowledge full responsibility and waive any claims against East Coast Scoot Pty Ltd or its owners for any incidents related to their use. 

The use of the throttle on our scooters is solely the customer's responsibility. Electric scooters with throttles should only be used on private property and are not permitted on public roads or pathways. 

Driver Responsibility 

Laws and regulations for electric scooters vary between states. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the relevant laws and regulations in your area before riding your electric scooter. 

Range Estimate Disclaimer 

At East Coast Scoot, we strive to provide accurate information regarding the expected range per charge for our electric scooters. However, these estimates are not guaranteed and can vary based on factors such as battery age, temperature, assistance level, speed, load, and terrain. Under ideal conditions, the actual range may exceed our maximum estimate or fall short of our minimum estimate.

We regularly update and enhance our electric scooter specifications and reserve the right to make changes at any time, including software updates. Please note that the colour of our products may appear slightly different in person due to lighting variations and other factors. Additionally, some components may differ from the website images as we continually improve our offerings. While we strive to provide precise descriptions and images, slight variations may occur. 

Key Regulations 

  1. Riders must be at least 16 years old.

  1. Cyclist and scooter rider road rules must be followed.
